Why do we believe this is the most beautiful trip in the world?

Because we don't just go to "check off" peaks, but to live the Slovenian spirit. In September, nature is gentle, the golden light transforms the Alps into paintings, and the crowds of tourists have already left. We chose Slovenia because it is that "hidden gem" of Europe where everything works perfectly, yet remains authentic.

The Story of Our Trail

We won't crowd onto Triglav. We have chosen the "road less traveled" for you. We know the local secrets, the paths known only to the locals, and we will lead you through places where silence can be heard. Logar Valley (Logarska Dolina): 

We will wake up for a few days in what is considered the most beautiful glacial valley in the Alps. The green here needs no filters.

Fairytale places: We will stay in the heart of tradition, at farms over 500 years old, where time seems to have stood still.

Lake Bohinj: We will stop by Slovenia's wildest lake, where the mountain is reflected directly in the water.

Cultural Experience: It's about the taste of local cheeses, Slovenian cuisine, and the little surprises prepared to help you understand this fascinating people.

Hidden Secrets: Slovenia is the country with the most eco-farms relative to its population. You will learn what real respect for nature means from our hosts.

Trail Information Itinerary: Exploration of Logar Valley, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Julian Alps, and the Lake Bohinj area

Difficulty: Moderate. The trails are chosen for the joy of the eyes, not for physical exhaustion. If you have moderate mountain experience and the desire to see "where the elves and fairies live," join us.

Trail type: Daily hikes from fixed locations (returning to the comfort of the farms every evening)

Who is it for?

This trip is perfect for you if:

• You have a good physical condition and are prepared for 5-7 hours of movement per day.

• We have already met on the mountain: To maintain group cohesion and the Up The Mountains "family" atmosphere, this expedition is open exclusively to those who have joined us on at least one previous trip in Romania. We want to get to know each other before embarking on this adventure. 🤝

• You are looking for more than just a hike; you are looking for a sensory and cultural experience.

• You appreciate details: accommodation with history, a locally cooked meal, a secret spot known only to the guide.

Required Equipment

• Mountain boots (waterproof, with good grip).

• Daypack (20 - 30l).

• 3-layer clothing (including waterproof jacket and thermal layer).

• Trekking poles and sunglasses.

• Swimsuit (for the crystal-clear alpine lakes!).
