We all know how crowded some chalets/trails are on weekends, so we invite you to visit the mountain chalets on Fridays, when we will definitely enjoy the trail and the atmosphere at the chalet more when there are fewer tourists.

The Story of Our Route
We drive to the Piatra Craiului Mountains on Friday morning and park at Botorog's Fountain. From here, we head through the Zărnești Ravines - spectacular gorges with vertical walls that will impress us with their grandeur.
We continue our journey through the forest and meadows until we reach Curmătura, where we have a lunch break and relax after the effort we put in. Along the way, we also admire the majesty of Craiului, the Queen of the Carpathians.
After lunch, we leave through the forest back to Botorog, with a short break in an open meadow from where we will admire excellent views of the Bucegi Mountains.

Itinerary: Botorog's Fountain - Zarnesti Ravines - Curmatura Chalet - Poiana Zanoaga - Botorog

Required Equipment
Mountain boots (required) – waterproof, with good grip.
20 - 25l backpack with waterproof cover
3-layer clothing, including a waterproof jacket
Down jacket
Ski goggles / sunglasses
Sunscreen cream
1.5 - 2 liters of water and food (snack for lunch)
Trekking poles
Hat, gloves (2 pairs), buff
Possible shack (we will announce in advance if needed)

Hiking cost: 195 RON/person

Transportation: We will organize according to the number of people, either by rented minibus or in personal cars.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than 7 days in advance: Full refund or transfer to a future tour.
Cancellation less than 7 days: For organizational reasons, no refund is possible, but we offer you the flexibility to join another future tour.
Weather conditions: We reserve the right to cancel the hike in dangerous weather conditions (ice, blizzard, code red), and the money will be fully refunded.
