The Story of the Route
We drive to the Baiului Mountains on Saturday morning and park in Azuga. From here, we start on the path through the forest, and as soon as we emerge into the light, we will admire the first spectacular views of the Bucegi Mountains.
We continue climbing to Cazacul Peak, then to Baiul Mare Peak, the culmination of our route, from where we will have spectacular views of the Bucegi Mountains, but also of Postăvaru and Ciucaș.
We will use the snowshoes (provided by us) only if the snow cover requires it.
Depending on the weather and the dynamics of the group, we will descend either to Bușteni or to Sinaia.
