The Story of the Route
If the mountains of Romania had a secret realm, Padișul would certainly be their most beautiful mystery.
We go on a unique and spectacular two-day tour through the heart of the Padiș Plateau. We forget everything we know about the classic mountain and enter another world, literally — almost a kind of Narnia where everything becomes possible and the landscape changes with every step.
A magical weekend awaits us through deep gorges, hidden glades and rock portals... a fairytale place that feels like an Old Customs House, but one that would have been thought up by elves on LSD :)
We'll explore the most spectacular green labyrinths and karst phenomena. I mean, exactly the kind of tour you return to the office from on Tuesday morning... but with your soul still wandering among legends and maximum joy in your chest.
Local legend says that in Padiș time flows differently, and the mysticism of the place conquers you forever. We are ready for anything: exploration, magic, tranquility, a night at the cabin and the joy of seeing nature in the purest way possible.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than 7 days in advance: Full refund or transfer to a future tour.
Cancellation under 7 days: For organizational reasons, no refund is possible, but we offer you the flexibility to join another future tour.
Weather conditions: We reserve the right to cancel the hike in dangerous weather conditions (ice, blizzard, code red), and the money will be fully refunded.

Itinerary
We leave Cluj early on Saturday morning, leaving the city behind to quickly enter the magic of the plateau. As soon as we arrive at the cabin (which is about 3 and a half hours later), we leave our luggage, have a coffee and set off straight on our first hike to acclimatize to this fairytale land.
Day One: We take it easy through green meadows and stone labyrinths. We will complete one of the most spectacular circuits this summer, with lookout balconies, ascents and descents through areas from another planet, and meadows that even Windows 95 didn't have in the background.
Sunday (The Big Day): The next day, the serious hiking awaits us. We wake up with maximum energy and set off to explore the karst heart of Padiș, where the trail becomes an incredible succession of deep gorges, hidden portals, and breathtaking caves.
If you ask us if it's hard, we'll honestly tell you that it's a demanding adventure, with a special mysticism. But if you have curiosity, an explorer's spirit and determination, you will go beyond the "fence" of Narnia, into a place that few ever truly understand.
The return: In the second part of the day, we say goodbye to this secret land and head back to Cluj, with the certainty that the month of August could not have started better.
Required Equipment
Hiking boots or shoes with grippy soles are mandatory
Clothing adapted for changeable weather: technical T-shirt, fleece and waterproof/windstopper jacket.
Water (minimum 2L) and snacks for the whole day Trekking poles - they are very useful for this type of hiking
Cap/hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Cabin equipment i.e. sleeping clothes and toothbrush :)
