The Story of the Route
We drive to the Postavaru Mountains on Friday morning and park in the Dambul Morii area. From here, we start on the path through the forest, climbing steadily towards the Piatra Mare Chalet.
We will use the snowshoes (provided by us) only if the snow layer requires it.
Once at the chalet, depending on the weather and the dynamics of the group, we will also climb Piatra Mare Peak, from where we will admire spectacular views of the area.
At the chalet we take a well-deserved break and enjoy the famous potato soup with tarragon. After the meal, we descend on a different route to Dambul Morii.
