The Story of the Route
Why do we think this is the most beautiful tour in the world? Because we don't just go to "tick" peaks, but to experience the Slovenian spirit. In September, nature is gentle, the golden light turns the Alps into paintings, and the masses of tourists have already left. We chose Slovenia because it is that "hidden gem" of Europe where everything works perfectly, but remains authentic.
We won't crowd Triglav. We've chosen the "road less traveled" for you. We know the local secrets, the paths that only locals know, and we'll take you to places where silence can be heard.
Logar Valley (Logarska Dolina): We will wake up for a few days in what is considered the most beautiful glacial valley in the Alps. The green here needs no filters.
Fairytale places: We will stay in the heart of tradition, on farms over 500 years old, where time seems to have stood still.
Lake Bohinj: We will stop by the wildest lake in Slovenia, where the mountain is reflected directly in the water.
Cultural Experience: It's about the taste of local cheeses, Slovenian cuisine, and the little surprises prepared to understand this fascinating people.
Hidden Secrets: Slovenia is the country with the most "eco-farms" per capita. You will learn what real respect for nature means from our hosts.

This is our soul tour, the "crown jewel" Up The Mountains for 2026. Selection will be made in the order of registrations.
⚠️ Note: Registrations are reserved for friends who have climbed with us on the trails in Romania. If you haven't done so yet, we are waiting for you on our spring/summer tours to "get to know each other" before Slovenia!

Itinerary
Day I: Saturday, September 12 at 5 am we leave Cluj.
We have 870 km to our accommodation and on the way we have the opportunity to visit Budapest or Maribor for a coffee and a cake. We estimate that we will arrive at our accommodation at 6 pm.
Day II: Sunday, September 13 - Exploration of Logar Valley + Robanov Kot Valley In the evening we can take a walk on Panoramic Road.

Wide panoramas, exposure similar to Retezat, effort on the climb and descent... and a lot of joy.
Day IV: Tuesday, September 15 - we visit the capital Ljubljana

Easy walk through the small capital of Slovenia.
Day V: Wednesday, September 16: Ceha Chalet and Vratka Peak (1810)

Route type: path through the forest to the cottage. In the evening we can have dinner at a very beautiful farm in the area.
Medium difficulty hike.
Day VI: Thursday, September 17 - Velika Planina circuit and trip to Lake Bled which we visit.

Easy hike through one of the most beautiful alpine meadows.
Day VII: Friday, September 18 - we also visit Vintgar Gorge, one of the most beautiful gorges in Europe and spend the rest of the day around Lake Bohinj

Day VIII: Saturday, September 19 - Valley of the 7 Lakes

Day IX: Sunday, September 20 - The return trip to Cluj.
For the way home we estimate the starting time to be around 7 am Slovenian time. The estimated time we will arrive in Cluj is 8 pm.

Mountain boots (waterproof, with good grip).
Hiking backpack (20 - 30l).
3-layer clothing (including waterproof jacket and thermal layer).
Trekking poles and sunglasses.
Swimsuit (for the crystal clear alpine lakes!).
